Android Inc. was started by Andy Rubin, Rich Miner, Nick Sears and Chris White in California in 2003. Although Android is now a smart phone operating system, the initial idea of the founders was to create a new system for DIGITAL CAMERAS.
However, as the market for such a task was not profitable as they expected, they turn their ideas to smart phones. Their dreams started to fade as they had to face financial problems.
